| Q: | I am currently on one (1) Assign by Web dot com program and my Assignor is updating to the new dot net site. Can I use my old User name and Password? |
| A: | No – The Assign by Web company (via your Assignor) will be issuing you an updated User Name with a NEW password (which you can change after you log-in) |
| Q: | What if I work another sport and that Assignor already has a dot net site- do I have to use the new User Name and Password sent to me when the conversion takes place? |
| A: | No – you can then use your EXISTING User name and Password from the dot net site (remember these User Names and Passwords are NOT sport specific – they are Official specific) in lieu of the one sent to you – you will just need to tell your Assignor of the new dot net site what User Name & Password you will use. |
| Q: | Can I just log on to the new site via the Home page? |
| A: | No – the system does NOT automatically “register” you - you need to 1st register on the new dot net site by clicking on the User Registration link – you will be redirected to another page that will say OR, if you are already registered on any of ASW sites, enter your login/password to register on this site – type your User Name and Password from your other dot net site and click on the Find Account button. |
| Q: | Can I use this User name and password for any other assignor in ANY other sport that I work so I can manage AND update just one calendar? |
| A: | Yes – that is the advantage of the Assign by Web dot net site (versus the old dot com sites). You can manage ALL of your sports with one calendar. You may of course get some overlap as ALL of your Assignments will be visible from other assignors as they release their other sports, be they Self Assign lower level football games, or your baseball or softball schedules. |
| Q: | What if I want to have a User name for each sport I work but use the same Password – can I do this? |
| A: | Yes you can, after you “register” you can change your password to whatever you want – remember though that if you do this it will ultimately be YOUR responsibility to keep track of the various user names you use AND to make sure your calendar is UPDATED and ACCURATE for each sport! |
| Q: | What if I want to limit my Availability calendar (like in Basketball) to specific Assignors? |
| A: | Again the system does NOT automatically link you to each assignor that has a dot net site. YOU still have to register for your sport specific Assignor in order for them to view your OPEN date calendar. |
| Q: | How will I know if the Assignors in other sports that I work for will be updating their Assign by Web dot com sites to the newer dot net sites? |
| A: | The sites are renewed on a yearly basis – simply ask your assignor if he will be updating to the new dot net sites when he renews his contract with Assign by Web or if he will keep the OLD dot com site. |
