Fox Valley Football Officials Association An association of Illinois High School Association registered football officials residing primarily in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Section I. The Association's Officers shall determine the Top 15 officials based on the following criteria:

1. The official must be a member, having paid FVFO dues.
2. The official must be certified.
3. The official must attend at least 3 of 4 of FVFO's pre-season meeting (75%)
4. The official must notify the association of his interest in officiating play-off games.

Other factors for consideration:

1. Prior playoff experience of the official.
2. The number of varsity games scheduled for the current season.
3. The number of State Final Games previously officiated.

1. In years when there are 4 pre-season meetings, an official must attend 3 of 4 meetings to achieve 75% attendance.
2. In years when there are 5 pre-season meetings, an official must attend 4 of 5 meetings to achieve at least 75% attendance. (Only attending 3 meetings only results in only 60% attendance.)
3. An official's interest in officiating play-off games is demonstrated by that official filling out and submitting to the FVFO Secretray a "Top 15 List Information Sheet".
